The
Peabody Library in Baltimore became a grand setting for Anat and Yury's wedding.
When we arrived, the bride and groom were getting ready in separate rooms at the
Tremont Hotel. Once ready, Anat gracefully descended the staircase to the lobby where Yury was eagerly anticipating seeing her as a bride for the first time. Their wedding party gathered outside and we then all started walking through downtown Baltimore heading to the Peabody Library for the ceremony.
The architecture of the library was breathtaking with it's six floors of books visible from the central atrium. Table settings, floral arrangements, menus, and hand-folded origami crane "place cards" were all brilliantly designed and executed. Meals were served followed by shots of Russian vodka and then everyone was ready for the hora and the dancing that proceeded into the night.
