He did it again! - Alejo won another WPJA award!

I am so proud of my husband Alejo, he has won another WPJA award. Of course you have to have an incredible couple to work with and Kirsten and Matt were the perfect bride and groom.
So this competition is serious, tens of thousands of photographers submitting their work from all over the world.  It's truly tough to get noticed in a sea of amazing photographs, but Alejo has nailed it again!

Kelli & Tim - Locking Love Down in Chicago

This wedding was special in more ways than one, we have had the pleasure, of photographing Kelli's cousin and two of her best friends weddings. This group of friends and family has taken us all over North America, from Niagara on the Lake, Canada to Las Vegas, one in DC and the latest Chicago! Every time we photograph this group, we get closer and closer. It's been a fabulous ride and we hope to see them all again and again.
Kelli & Tim are an incredibly generous and loving couple. This city wedding was full of life, love and lots of movement. The buzz followed us late into the evening. They were married at the Art Institute of Chicago, with stunning arrangements. Between the bride and groom and all the details, this wedding was full of eye candy.  Anthony Gowder and Greta Leigh handled the coordination, they were true professionals and their hard work shows in our photos.

Bonnie & Brian - Hats off to marriage!

Bonnie and Brian were married at St Francis Hall in Washington DC earlier this spring.  It was a pretty venue and the couple put a lot of love into the details.  Every table had a unique center piece with an antique teacup and vintage books.  Brian had a hankering for hats; he wore a top hat for the ceremony and portraits, and strolled in with a King's hat for the reception.  She had a beautiful bouquet of vintage broach pins. This bouquet, like their love, will never wilt.  It was a really fantastic wedding with tons of dancing, love and laughter.  Cheers!
